Our very own Daria Strimbold will be representing BC on CTV this Saturday
There's a small-town ethos at work in Daria Strimbold's activism. Growing up in a village of 1,700 people in central British Columbia, she saw neighbors taking care of each other. That philosophy has led her to collect canned goods for food banks, take a stand against bullying among her classmates, and raise awareness about the history and impact of residential schools. It's also led her to look well beyond the confines of a hometown that's nestled among lakes and rivers, by fundraising for developing communities without access to clean water. An avid volunteer, champion athlete and promising student, Daria may be from a small town, but she's already made a big impact---with plans to do even more.
