Lakes Learning Centre

LAKES LEARNING CENTRE ALTERNATE PROGRAM

The Lakes Learning Centre is an alternate program designed for students in grades 10 to 12, who have struggled in the traditional school setting.  LLC is located on Lakers Drive and overlooks our smaller sports field on the west side of Saul Creek and the LDSS track and field.

This program targets students who have difficulty attending on a regular basis.  Students work on modularized programs leading towards graduation with a Dogwood Diploma.

The journey of learning is an exciting lifelong undertaking.  Our goal at LLC is to provide students with a full range of opportunities to discover new knowledge, develop new skills and to achieve personal learning goals.  Focusing on meeting the needs of our students, we enable individuals to grow personally and academically.

Our teacher, Mr. Dell, and our Learning Support Worker, Mrs. Stewart, are dedicated and experienced professionals who work with our students to assist them in achieving success and their learning goals.

Our Learning Centre offers customized classes and flexible learning and teaching environments that are geared to the needs of our students.
